About me

Education, work, languages and contacts

My name is Alexander, and I am a technical writer. I write documentation for software products and hardware and work in the Docs as Code approach: texts live in Git, and portals are built and published automatically.

I use my development knowledge in the profession: for my thesis project I built a service that checks English-language documentation using neural networks. I also draw diagrams and sometimes write interface text.

Languages

I translate technical documentation from Russian into English and back.

* The IELTS exam is administered by the British Council, IDP Education and Cambridge Assessment English. The British Council is designated an undesirable organization in Russia.

Known limitations

In documentation, this is the name for what a program cannot do yet. I will write about myself too.

Design is not my main profession: I have less experience in visual design than in documentation. I catch up by practicing on my own projects.

My English is at the C1 level, but I am not a native speaker. Texts for international publication are better shown to a native speaker.

Outside work

I take photographs, mostly on film. My pictures are on Unsplash.

I ride a bike and do 3D printing.
